An all-boys school with a tradition of Princesses, boys chosen to dress up as girls to create tension between the students. Yutaka Mikoto, Shihoudani Yuujirou and Kouno Tooru are this year's chosen Princess team. Unsatisfied with the efforts of the current Princesses, Hanazono Otoya creates his own team of Dark Princesses to rival for the students' attention.

One day you might find a balloon on the floor and ask: Who did it once belong to? Whose face did it light up? What joy was it once commemorating, now only to be trodden on and wheeled over between alleyways and curbs?

Natalia, a 17 year old girl, lives in a wealthy environment in Mexico City. After falling victim to sexual abuse, her personality becomes overwhelmed with silent despair. A couple of impulsive decisions led by her trauma will make her discover a dark side of herself.

Princess is a young illegal immigrant from Nigeria who sells her body on the outskirts of a big city. Like an Amazon on the hunt, protected by her friends, she moves through a pinewood that stretches as far as the sea, an enchanted forest in which to find refuge, hide away from life and earn her daily bread. Every day, in order to survive, Princess has to steer clear of dangers and sentiments, follow the scent of money and dupe her clients. Her life is a succession of days that are always the same, one joins to another, without a break. Until one day, driven by an inner force to break the shackles of cynicism and exploitation, she quarrels with the friends with whom she shares the street and meets a man who wants to save her, but first she will have to save herself.

Princess tells the true story of former cabaret dancer Anna Lappalainen's redemptive struggle with insanity, who checked in to Finland's Kellokoski Psychiatric Hospital in 1945.
